At Epicycle, we work with our clients to define what success looks like, and then develop a plan to transform your vision into reality.

We partner with people committed to engaging careers and personal fulfillment. Whether you're an executive developing your high-performing team, a leader seeking new challenges and greater fulfillment, or striving for better work-life integration, we can help you clarify your goals and achieve success across the board.

services

We believe that professionals can feel successful at work and at home, and we help workplaces become more effective, healthier, and happier.

Coaching supports professionals at critical points in their careers. Whether you're a career changer, working towards your next promotion, an entrepreneur building your business, or juggling work with family, coaching can provide clarity, new perspectives, and lead to a more satisfying work life.

Sasha’s coaching service was motivating, inspiring, encouraging, and validating. As I neared the end of my second pregnancy and spent most of my days with my toddler (and part-time administrative work at a university), it was crucial - for me - to know that Sasha was there to keep pushing me forward to my goal of switching careers and attending acupuncture school. Her ability to keep my dream a reality was inevitably what allowed me to pursue acupuncture school. A year later, when my second child turned one, I started acupuncture school and was very satisfied to learn that this is exactly the right second career for me.

Programs and workshops bring professionals together in a collaborative setting to make mindset shifts, build skills, and benefit from peer-to-peer dialogue. Our flagship program supports working moms, and we offer diverse workshops to amplify the impact of leaders and teams, and to create a vibrant work culture.

Sasha’s group coaching program, Career and Work-Life Reset, is based on the idea of self-authorship, which is how adults grow and develop. The program allowed our group to explore how we can remain connected to our authentic selves, and taught us how we can prioritize what matters most to us. This experience helped me see the connections between my values, actions, and habits. I started seeing more clearly the choices I can make daily, and the difference these choices create in my life. At the end of the program, I found myself feeling much greater ease in setting the agenda for my personal and professional life. I now feel empowered throughout the ebbs and flows of my life, feel more self-acceptance, and am able to maintain the habits that make an impact in my life.

Organizations have a unique opportunity to develop staff, strengthen teams, and retain talent. Whether you’re a seasoned leader, increasing team collaboration, or supporting managers planning for parental leave, coaching can help generate new skills, envision fresh possibilities and position employees to thrive.

Sasha has supported me and my senior leaders on a variety of topics from helping to structure our management team, hiring, developing managerial talent, and even dealing with conflict and difficult situations. This has been one of the best investments we’ve made as a business. The coaching has been instrumental in helping bring clarity, break through barriers we’ve struggled with, and as a result, helped to elevate the business. I highly recommend Sasha!

vision

We believe that true success is a blend of fulfillment in our careers and in our personal lives. Because how we show up at work, and who we are at home, are interconnected and mutually reinforcing.

We strive to set workplaces and professionals up for success by creating organizational culture shifts where talent is developed and retained through inclusive practices.

At work, when we build cultures where employees can show up as their whole selves, professionals can leverage their strengths, be fully engaged in their work, and teams are stronger because of their differences. Both workplaces and individuals benefit when the many layers of people’s identities are embraced as assets. By aligning the professional and the personal, we show up as our best selves, and maximize our drive, our empathy, our creativity, our courage, and ultimately, our impact.

At home, like with anything that’s important to us, we must be intentional. Healthy, happy families don’t “just happen.” Similar to our professional spheres, creating a thriving family requires a vision, discipline, sacrifice, and creativity. We believe in the value of caring for others and of being present for those we love when they need us most, whether it’s taking care of an aging parent or raising children. We want children to have access to their parents at important moments, and we want parents to be empowered to decide when and how often they need to be present for their kids.

We believe that the skills involved in care work – listening, empathy, communication, and organization, to name a few – are also essential skills for strong leadership.

Finally, we strive to make work-life integration a reality. At Epicycle, work-life harmony includes autonomy over our daily schedules but it goes beyond this: it means being able to integrate our identities as well. It allows employees to show up as “professional,” and also “parent,” “Black,” “Brown,” “gay,” or “woman.” The different aspects of our lives and our identities are intertwined. When we value each person’s unique talents and their diverse lived experiences, we produce better work, create greater innovation, and feel more authentic, satisfied, and happier.

When the professional and the personal align, possibilities emerge. Organizations will be able to attract and retain top talent to achieve excellence, while supporting employees and positioning them to thrive both at work and at home.

Becoming a parent for the first time is a life-changing experience, especially becoming a working mother. Shortly after having my first child, I was recruited for a high-level managerial position. Sasha assisted me in thinking through what taking on this role could look like given that I was a new parent. It was enormously helpful to have her as a sounding board. She provided a safe space for me to explore my options, asked helpful questions that helped me gain clarity, and our sessions gave me the courage to present my preferences during negotiations with my new employer. After accepting the position, I felt relieved and satisfied that I had asked for and gotten what I needed to balance this new role with motherhood.
